About

     Rob Michels is a native New Yorker who, encouraged and influenced by his dad, took up photography when he was in high school. 

     He took a long hiatus from the hobby, but then returned to it in earnest in 2010 when he bought his first digital camera.

     Rob has tried over the years to improve his eye and compositional skills, and to produce images which are both pleasing to the eye and interesting.

     The venues range from Hawaii, to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts, to various urban areas of the U.S.
